Nablus-under Quds Bank social responsibility toward community and its contributions to the Bank in support of the various sectors of society, the Bank introduced  financial support for Al-Birr charity Community Association in Nablus of four thousand Jordanian dinars for student loan fund collectors, and that attention to enable the largest possible number of needy students from universities and higher education, where the World Bank education sector support on priority.

 

In turn Quds Bank praisedthe efforts of society to support higher education in Palestine, and emphasized the interest of the World Bank in the education sector supporting needy students in various areas under Community responsibility for the upgrading of higher education to support the education sector and students in particular, where the Bank has this year to focus on supporting the Palestinian universities in various provinces, from the University of Birzeit University, Al-Quds Open University in addition to Tulkarem.

 

The General Director Samih assured the Banks’ important role played by the Palestinian private sector in General and Quds Bank in particular, in the development and support of educational process in different institutions, noting that the Bank's support on Tuesday for a charity group is an update to the role of the Bank in support of the various sectors of Palestinian society.

 

Al- Birr thanked Quds Bank  directors who has pledged generous and continued support for the activities of the Assembly and the role of the Bank in support of charitable associations and institutions, ensuring the importance of private sector support of charities that strive for the development of society in General and the Palestinian individual in particular, confirming needs to adopt the Palestinian private sector support institutions and charities in Palestine in General and particular education sector regardingchallenges this sector faces.

 

The Bank was founded in 1995, and active through 27 branches and offices in all the governorates of Jenin to the Gaza Strip recently got approval for the opening of new offices in both towns of Kaplan and jama'in, in addition to two new branches in Jabalia and Rafah, as part of his efforts reaching Palestinian citizens in different regions and rural areas, as well as the Bank continued within the framework and a clear strategy to develop and add more banking services to cope with the global evolution in banking actions .
